The Lancer is a pure tank type class. They wield a spear and shield and take the pure force of the on coming attack. They are given the highest amount of hitpoints and armor class than any other job. They also hold the most aggro allowing them to keep monsters from attacking their companions. This job allows you to be very self sufficient taking minimal damage while increasing your survival. The Lancer eventually ascends into the Dragoon harnessing even greater powers.

You mitigate 10% damage for 1000 damage until either the rune fades or you absorb too much damage.

Challenging Shout
You challenge all foes around you dealing 75 damage. This also generates extra hate.

Debilitate
You debilitate your foe decreasing their damage by 10% and AC by a small amount. This spell lasts for 30 seconds.

Guardian Shout
Fills you and your companions with the courage of a guardian, increasing your hitpoints by 100 for 30 minutes.

Charging Lunge
You strike in rapid succession dealing up to 2 additional strikes with your spear for 300% weapon damage.

Iron Will
Your will becomes as hard as iron, decreasing the damage you take by 20% for 1 minute.

Bloodlust
You are filled with a thirst for blood allowing your melee attacks to drain 10% health from your opponent for 30 seconds. This also increases your accuracy by 100%.
